The Toronto Concert Band presents Music of the Night, featuring Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera, as well as other favourites.
Our 2024-25 season promises thrilling repertoire, gripping guest artists and three unique concert experiences designed to entertain and inspire. Our series launches in November with Music of the Night – stirring excerpts from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s beloved The Phantom of the Opera, a dynamic gallop through Rossini’s William Tell Overture Finale, and Jan Van der Roost’s frolicking suite of Swedish folk dances Medelpadia.
In March, we bring our characteristically diverse programming to Etobicoke including Robert Sheldon’s Glorious Revelation rife with powerful chords and poignant themes and Bert Appermont’s Evening Rise musical journey around the world. In June, we heat up our concert stage with uber cool jazz featuring guest Trumpeter Mike Field, an award-winning jazz musician revered for his dynamic performances with a worldly flavour and a fun sense of adventure.
Captivating programming and magnificent sound!
We look forward to bringing great music to your ears this season. We hope you will join us!
