    A series of community band competitions under the artistic direction of renowned composer/conductor Robert Sheldon will culminate in an extraordinary Festival Concert of magnificent music by over 200 Toronto musicians. Four community ensembles will share the concert stage, showcasing the workshopped results of gripping Sheldon pieces, plus additional repertoire to entertain and inspire. Introducing the

Toronto Concert Band

Welcome to the Toronto Concert Band, Toronto’s newest community concert band.  The band launched on May 24, 2014 and four dozen artists came out to our first rehearsal on September 9th, depicted here.  Today over 75 amateur, semi-pro and professional musicians make magic every week.
