On June 15th, the Toronto Concert Band wraps up its 10th Anniversary Season with a gift of magnificent music! The centrepiece of our thrilling anniversary programme is Bizet’s Carmen Suite – flamenco-infused music overflowing with emotion and unforgettable melodies including Habanera and Toreador Song. Then there’s Mars from Holst’s outer-worldly The Planets, with clashing keys and arresting drama. Back on Earth, the band explores jubilant themes from Lord of the Dance, takes a fun romp Through the Decades of pop/rock, and raises the roof with a rousing Seventy Six Trombones. Plus much more!
