Annual dues for the Toronto Concert Band are $180 and are due upon registration for the 2022-2023 season. (Dues must be paid by the end of the third rehearsal.) Dues cover band expenses such as insurance, rehearsal and performance hall rental, music purchases, and other operating expenses. New members also receive a personalized music folder as part of their membership (folders are ordered annually in the fall).
How to Pay
TCB payments can be made one of three ways:
- by interac e-transfer to [email protected]
- by credit card (credit card payments are processed by PayPal, but you do not need a PayPal account to pay by credit card)
- by PayPal using your paypal account and whatever payment method you have configured in PayPal.
If alternate payment methods are required please contact the treasurer.

Pro-Rated Dues
For members who join mid-season, dues are pro-rated based on the time you join the band.
In a regular two-concert season:
- Join before first concert: $180 (Pay now)
- Join after first concert but before second concert: $90
In a regular three-concert season:
- Join before first concert: $180 (Pay now)
- Join after first concert but before second concert: $120 (Pay now)
- Join after second concert but before third concert: $60 (Pay now)
Special Consideration
The TCB is an inclusive organization that values the diversity of its members. Correspondingly, it recognizes that not all members are able to pay this fee every year. In cases of hardship, members may request relief from the fee by emailing the treasurer. We are also usually able to accommodate alternate payment schedules if prior arrangements are made. Don’t let this stand in the way of your participation in the band.
