The Toronto Concert Band rehearses at Lambton Kingsway Junior Middle School. Enter at the south west door by the parking lot and you won’t be able to miss us.
Rehearsals are from 7pm to 9pm, with a short break. Please try to arrive a few minutes early to be ready for downbeat at 7 sharp. Chairs and a few stands are provided. Please bring a stand if you have one as we have outgrown the number the school maintains. Lighting is not great. You might want to bring your own light (BYOL) if you have one. (We’re working on these issues.)
The rehearsal schedule is available on the Members’ Calendar, which you can add to your Calendar software or mobile device by subscribing with this link: ICAL

Entry from parking lot: Turn right once you enter, and walk down the hall to the end. The band room will be on the left.
Entry from Winterton Dr: Walk straight towards the far set of doors, turn left down the second hallway (past the auditorium). The band room will be on the left.
Via TTC: from Kipling Stn, take the 46 and get off at Winterton Dr. The school is right there, walk east along Winterton towards the front door of the school.
John G Althouse Middle School
130 Lloyd Manor Rd.
Etobicoke, ON M9B 5K1
Enter from door #6. This door is located on the far west side of the school close to the portable, and is accessible from the paved schoolyard. You will enter by the music room. The door will be unlocked at 6:30pm. No other doors to the school are likely to be open at this time. Note that there is no need to bring a music stand – enough will be provided.
By TTC, take the subway to Kipling and then hop on the Kipling or Lloyd Manor busses.
Following rehearsal, we gather at a local pub – St. James’s Gate (Dundas St. W. east of Kipling) – for post-rehearsal camaraderie. We’re there every week and everyone is always welcome.
Carpools abound and it’s never a problem getting to transit afterward. Need a ride? Ask around at rehearsal or leave it to the last minute at the pub and you’ll do just fine.
